In EVO, is there such a thing as a page refresh timer? (my term). Here is the issue:
On my new installation, if, for example, I am typing a post, like I am doing here, and if I take too long (figure about 3 minutes), my page will suddenly refresh, taking me basically be to the hope page. Is there some sort of timer doing that, or is that my web host. I have to be honest...I have not seen this behavior here (I waited 5 minutes to finish this post and it did not happen, but then, am wondering if there is a setting for that somewhere.
I have a second question. I had a gent set up the site for me, as I was not too familiar with the EVO distro of nuke. He set something to not allow urls in posts. Like this for my web site:

spurtus,
There is nothing in the Evo core that would cause your page to refresh. You should be able to have it open for a week and it should not change pages. The only cause I could think for this is some block/module that has a refresh on it.
As for your second topic about the url's, for the life of me I cannot think of any setting for this. I have taken a quick look and did not see anything. Maybe someone else can recall a setting for this.

No that does not sound right because the page automatically redirects after about 3 minutes without hitting any kind of submit button. This is definitely a module/block that has a refresh in it.

I know this topic is over a year old but I am having the Exact same Problem as the OP. MY forum members are complaining that they cannot finish a post without losing all of the txt cause when they hit submit it redirect to the Home page and they lose the whole post!
About 3 mins would be right too I guess
IF it is a Bock or Module then How would I track down the culprit without messing things up worse?
Thanks in advance!!

Why don't you post your url so everyone can see what is loading on your site. Another option is to set the option to have no left and right blocks on the forums and see what happens.

Crisis thanks for your quick response!
My site is still being tested on a domain that I'm not currently using (i own like 6 doamins at present)but I'll be transferring everything over to my Clan Domain by the end of the month or so!
It is a clan site for my clan and the Testing URL is located Here
Thanks again! Aside from this little problem, I have few if any other issues, so I'd like to figure this out and get the site over to our regular domain
